Riverview Georgia, 2012

Tariana Williamson stared out onto the overly decorated banquet hall that was practically empty with the exception of the bride's wedding party, her, and her father. She sighed at the obnoxiously loud women as she watched them drink their cocktails and dance inappropriately on the floor.
"What did he do?" Tariana questioned, rubbing he head as she pondered over his choice in women. Looking out across the hall again she wasn't really surprised that no one showed up. In the small Cobbler County made up of Twinbrook and Riverview it was very obviously when someone didn't like someone. Not to mention that the Crabtree Sisters, the local equivalent of celebrity, didn't care for her the "northern" girl either.
"Hey baby cakes." Tariana's father called to her in his thick southern drawl. "How are you."
"Fine." Tariana answered, a little unsure of her self.
"You sure?:
"Um yeah."
"Honey-bear. Honey-bear! " Tariana's step-mom called, obviously annoyed that her was talking to that "annoying brat".
He ignored her for a little before succumbing to her whims.
Tariana sighed and stole herself away from the reception for a few minutes, "Does he really not know?" Tariana pondered as she sat on the bench.
Silent tears rolled done Tariana's cheeks as she thought of the date. July 20th, her mom's birthday, and the day she died.
"Hey Tari!" The familiar voice brought her back to reality.
"Janson what are you doing here?" Tariana asked getting up the bench.
"I wanted to see if you wanted to go on a little adventure." Janson Crosby leaned on the fence his bright blue eyes raised in excitement.
"I don't know Janson. I can't really leave the wedd..." Before she could protest her best friend grabbed her by the arm and pulled her through.
"So have anywhere you wanna go?"
"Yea." Twenty minutes later they were on the Twinbrook side of town.
"You know I really can't believe that of all things you wanted to go to a thrift shop." Janson smiled, standing in the doorway.
"It's not a thrift shop!" Tariana jokingly protested. It a consignment store.
"Fancy name for thrift shop." Janson smiled taking he place on the couch. Tariana smiled, sitting beside him.
"Well do you propose then Crosby."
"Oh your letting me decide Ms. Williamson I'm shocked." Janson said sarcastically.
"Better pick before I take it back."
"OK well come on." Janson grabbed her arm and ran out the door.
"Well here we are!" Exclaimed Janson loudly.
"The granary ? But were not suppose to go in there. No one has in decades."
"Quit worrying Tari." Janson smiled leading the way as she trailed behind him. The granary was a dark creepy place with bad lightening and rotten walls. The two grabbed hold of each other as he led the two up the shaky stairwell that led to a room. What they saw surprised them.
